Modern artificial intelligence (AI) is built upon a
small set of foundational research papers. In this seminar, we will explore the
evolution of AI, starting with Rosenblatt’s perceptron in 1958 and culminating
in an early GPT model from 2019. Each participant will select, study, and
present one of these seminal papers, gaining a deeper understanding of the
ideas that shaped AI as we know it.
