An introductory class to ecocriticism as an analytical approach,
including an analysis and comparison of various types of texts from Anglophone countries. The class will discuss climate fiction,
but also how ecocritical analysis can be applied to any text. The class
will take place primarily in English but students can submit their final
essays in English or German.
